Terms

Terms of use for Origo DPP

Version 2026-10-18.

1. The service

Origo Tech AS (“we”) provides a platform for digital product passports under the EU Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR). The customer (“you”) is the economic operator that issues the passports and is legally responsible for their content.

The service is sold to businesses only. Anyone who registers an account confirms that they do so on behalf of a business.

2. The data is yours

Everything you enter remains yours. The export gives you the complete dataset in a documented format without our assistance, and it works regardless of subscription status. We do not use the data for any purpose other than providing the service.

3. Subscription and payment

The trial period is 30 days, with no payment card required. After that, a plan is chosen and payment is made through Stripe. An expired or unpaid subscription stops the publication of new versions and the issuing of API keys; reading, editing and exporting continue to work as before. Published passports remain available at their address.

Prices are stated exclusive of VAT, which is added where applicable. Customers outside Norway are invoiced without Norwegian VAT (reverse charge) and account for VAT themselves under the rules of their own country. On registration, the customer provides its organisation number or VAT number.

4. Availability and support

We aim for high availability and give notice of planned maintenance. Support is provided by email during Norwegian business hours.

5. Personal data

How we process personal data is set out in the privacy notice. Where we process personal data on your behalf, a data processing agreement is entered into.

6. Cancellation and termination

You may cancel at any time in the portal; the subscription runs until the end of the current period. We may terminate with 90 days’ notice, and the data can be exported throughout the notice period.

7. Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount paid in the preceding twelve months, except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Oslo District Court (Oslo tingrett) is the agreed venue for any disputes.
